- Gain an understanding of the basic concepts of nutrition and the role of aquatic foods in ensuring a sustainable and healthy diet. Use food composition databases to enumerate nutrition data and suggest ways to use aquatic food optimally by minimizing food loss and waste. Apply the principles and tools of FAO’s Toolkit for incorporating fish into home-grown school feeding programmes and identify challenges and opportunities present while incorporating fish and fish products into HGSFs.
