Objectives of the session
Raise awareness of the importance of the Right to Food as a fundamental human right;
Introduce the new FAO e-learning course Right to Food Fundamentals;
Analyze the role of capacity development in advancing the realization of the Right to Food, from the perspectives of policymakers, civil society, donors, and national human rights institutions (NHRIs); and
Facilitate an exchange of experiences, challenges, and initiatives related to capacity development in the context of the Right to Food.
