Objectives of the session

The ASEAN University Network for Agriculture and Food Security (AUN-AFS), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is proud to launch the FAO - AUN-AFS Research Proposal Competition for Youth 2026. This initiative is part of our broader goal to strengthen youth engagement in agrifood systems research while generating innovative evidence to support a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future for the ASEAN+3 region. AUN-AFS is also partnering with the FAO elearning Academy, which has generously provided an integrated platform to help candidates and finalists enhance their research proposals.
