During the event, we will share the impact reached so far by the FAO elearning Academy at global level, at individual level and at community level, with nearly 2 million professionals worldwide benefiting from the FAO courses, and over 16 million views & impressions this year!

Objectives of the session

  • Celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the FAO Four Betters Courses Initiative and the global impact it reached two years after its launch including a summary of the FAO elearning Academy statistics on the uptake of its courses worldwide.
  • Officially launch the Quadripartite Master’s Degree Programme in Sustainable Food Logistics and Supply Chain Management, in collaboration with the Pan African University (PAU), funded by the African Union, Guglielmo Marconi University (UniMarconi), United Nations University (UNU) and the FAO elearning Academy.
  • Demonstrate and advise on the value of integrating FAO certified elearning Academy courses and FAO knowledge resources into university curricula to better equip students with the required competencies for entering the professional world.
