Topic outline

This course is designed to support global efforts in achieving Target 2 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF). As a key element of the 2022 Global Biodiversity Framework, Target 2 focuses on ecosystem restoration to foster a harmonious relationship between people and nature.

The course offers essential knowledge and practical guidance to help stakeholders – including Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Parties – implement restoration initiatives that maximize biodiversity outcomes while enhancing human well-being.
