Objectives of the session

  • Understand the significance of Target 2 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) within national biodiversity plans, and its in achieving global restoration objectives;
  • Identify the key steps required to operationalize restoration; and
  • Explore the role of the Framework for Ecosystem Restoration Monitoring (FERM) in supporting Target 2 reporting, and understand other FERM functionalities.
