Topic outline

The Blue Ports Initiative (BPI) promotes the transformation of marine and coastal areas into social, economic and environmentally sustainable zones, involving all relevant stakeholders. Fishing ports serve as hubs in the maritime industry and have the potential to be transformed into strategic platforms for growth and value creation at local, national and regional levels. This course details the processes and steps to becoming a Blue Port.
