This course focuses on the Voluntary (VNR) submission and why the review of the state of implementation of the 2030 Agenda needs to be forward-looking and identify next steps and post-VNR follow-up action points.

This course is designed for all stakeholders involved in the follow-up and review processes of the 2030 Agenda, including civil society, international organizations, the private sector, national human rights institutions, and all levels and sectors of government, to ensure participatory and inclusive engagement.

  • Actionable and realistic follow-up steps after the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) to sustain momentum and progress on SDG implementation.
  • The key elements of Voluntary National Review (VNR) submission, presentation and dissemination.
  • The importance and objectives of post-VNR action.

This course consists of 4 lessons:

  • Lesson 1 - The importance of the "next steps" section in the VNR
  • Lesson 2 - VNR draft and submission
  • Lesson 3 - VNR presentation and dissemination
  • Lesson 4 - Post-VNR actions
