Topic outline
National Plant Protection Organizations (NPPOs) require adequate, sustainable funding to establish, manage and strengthen their phytosanitary systems and fulfil their International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) obligations.
This course aims to help NPPOs understand the importance of resource mobilization and enhance their ability to mobilize funds, focusing on sustainable financing and partnerships. The course also explores various internal and external funding options for NPPOs and strategies for effectively engaging with potential partners. This course is part of the IPPC Plant Health Campus. The Campus offers a variety of e-learning courses, guides and technical resources on key phytosanitary systems, with the overall goal of strengthening national phytosanitary capacity.
